Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that delivers those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those search terms. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted pages, the service may receive routine log information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. We use aggregate patterns to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, where relevant, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate and secure the service, resolve technical issues, measure aggregate traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Outside Services
Links may lead to county and state record portals, archives, library collections, or third-party search services. Their own privacy terms govern data submitted on those services. Sponsored result tools are also operated by a third party.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers may process logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners can receive the technical data described above. We disclose information when valid legal process requires disclosure and otherwise only as needed to operate the service.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts, passwords, or on-site personal profiles for visitors to maintain.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information so it can be removed.
Choices About Your Data
Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data a service holds. Texas privacy context includes the Texas Data Broker Act, Tex. Bus. & Com. Code ch. 510, which regulates covered data brokers, but it does not erase an official government record. Because this reference keeps little visitor data, requests usually concern the contact mailbox or operational logs. Use the Contact page. Requests about Texas state, county, or League City records belong with the relevant custodian.
Policy Changes
Updates will appear here. Continuing to use the service after a posted change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
